Friuli Centrale
Ingredients:
- 600 gr Montasio cheese (aged 5 months)
- 3 Golden apples
- Salt, pepper, 1 teaspoon extravirgin olive oil
Preparazione
Peel the apples, cut them into thin slices and brown them in a non-stick pan with hot oil. Salt and pepper the apples but ensure that they do not cook too much or they will melt. Add the previously cubed cheese to the apple mixture and cook over medium heat. Brown both sides of the mixture forming a crust and slide onto a plate to serve.
